About the Founder
At just 39, Jessica Morgan single working mom of 3 and a dedicated nurse, faced the unimaginable when she discovered a sizable mass in her breast in June 2020; during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. This shocking revelation led to a diagnosis of stage 3c triple-negative breast cancer, known for its aggressiveness. With her medical background, Jessica approached her treatments with determination, undergoing rigorous chemotherapy protocols, a radical double mastectomy, radiation followed by chemo and immunotherapy. Despite these interventions the cancer's metastasized in early 2022. She began the second fight for her life in as many years, but was faced with a new reality, there is no cure for stage 4 cancer, and it is considered terminal. She continued to persevere through the relentless challenges by facing her truths and letting go of what was out of her control.
Today, Jessica stands as a beacon of hope, having achieved over two years in remission. Her journey hasn’t just been about survival; she dedicates herself to her family and educating others about breast cancer, using her experiences to inspire and empower those battling similar challenges. Jessica’s story is a testament to resilience, proving that even in the darkest times, hope and strength can prevail.
ThriverClinic has become a beacon of hope for those navigating similar journeys, stemming from Jessica’s own experiences and the questions often posed by friends and family. Initially unable to find safe products for her needs, she created them herself; products that truly assisted in her healing journey. Understanding that it’s hard for a patient or caregiver to know exactly what will need until the need arrives, she created this site as a comprehensive resource, focused on safe comfort and support. Beyond offering a variety of helpful products, the ultimate vision is to foster a sense of community by giving back to the cancer community and connecting individuals from diverse backgrounds through virtual support groups.
